Tazeen Sharif, a distinguished alumnus, faculty member and Acting Manager, Office of International Academic Affairs at Ajman University bagged a prestigious position amongst the top 11 for the “Youth Leaders for Sustainable Development Award” at United Nations, New York.
Catering to the goals of “universal quality education” which ranks 4th amongst the 17 sustainable goals of UN, Ms. Tazeen Sharif worked diligently towards achieving this goal. Her project presented was an integration of all the work culminating into universal quality education, in the last four years she had focused on developing smart educational solutions for the visually and hearing impaired people as well as the autistic children and adult. She aimed to ensure that they can be integrated into a normal educational environment devoid of any hindrances or discriminations.
Tazeen Sharif expressed her pride at representing UAE on an esteemed platform as UN, she was the only representative of UAE at the UN Youth Assembly. Dignitaries from around the world attended workshops, seminars, debates and extensive exchange of technical knowledge.
