AUST Inks MoU with Fujairah Court

Ajman University of Science & Technology Fujairah Campus signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Ministry of Justice, represented by Fujairah Court.

On behalf of AUST, Prof. Dr. Ali Abu Noor, Director of Fujairah Campus signed the MoU with Chancellor Dr. Mohammed Obaid Al Kaabi, Chairman of the Fujairah Court and representative of the Ministry of Justice. Also present were Mr. Osama Saeed Salman, Vice-President of AUST, honorable judges and judiciary members.

Mr. Osama Salman stressed that this agreement addresses a wide range of prospects whilst opening new avenues of cooperation in the legal field specially for the students and graduates of the Faculty of Law. The facilities and resources available at the campus can be mutually beneficial for both the parties concerned. Training courses and joint seminars held by experts is just an example of the wide spectrum of collaboration ventures to be undertaken.

Dr. Mohammed Obaid Al Kaabi, expressed his appreciation for the distinct role AUST plays in the Emirates of Fujairah and the vital contribution to the community by equipping it with expertise and knowledge. He also remarked that “we all strive for the common goal, guided by the compass; the Union represents the compass to guide us to work in harmony”.

Ajman University encourages strengthening the ties of cooperation with government entities. These collaborative measures support the joint ventures which benefit the students and society at large by exchanging expertise in the respected field through trainings, seminars, workshops and events.
