AUST Wins Second Place in Taekwondo

Ajman University of Science and Technology won silver cup at the Universities Taekwondo Championship, organized by the UAE Higher Education Sports Federation, after taking second place in the overall ranking. Held at Men’s Higher College of Technology in Dubai, the championship attracted wide participation of students from various partaking universities. Flocks of fans from these institutions also swarmed the tournament venue.

AUST taekwondists shined among the top threes of all categories. Ali Mohammed Hassan obtained the first place in above 87 Kg, while the first place in above 80 Kg went to Musa Sharhabil. Second place was secured by Ahmad Al Barghuti in below 68 Kg, Ramin Amin in below 80, and Moaaz AL Zarkali in below 58. Kamal Abdul Razzak, on his part, achieved the third place in below 74 Kg.
