AUST Students Relish a Picnic to Al Mamzar Park

The students of Ajman University of Science and Technology seized the inter-semester break to relish a refreshing one-day picnic at Al Mamzar Park in Dubai. More than 40 students from different colleges and majors went on the recreational trip which was organized by the University’s Department of Student Affairs.

The trip program was rich in exciting leisure activities such as sports, entertaining competitions and group dinning. The participants expressed their delight at the trip and the variety of distracting and beneficial activities it comprised. “We as students are in dire need of such enjoyable activities to recreate and boost our energy for better academic achievement when we get back to the classrooms,” said one participant.

Captain Abdulhamid Bakour, Sports Activities Supervisor at AUST, who managed the picnic explained that “the recreation trip comes to pay tribute to the students who have participated in the sports activities which took place over the ongoing fall semester.”
