The College of Mass Communication recently hosted Mr. Madi Al-Khamis, Secretary-General of the Arab Media Forum from Kuwait, for a productive visit. During his visit, Mr. Al-Khamis met with Dr. Hosam Salama, Dean of the College, Dr. Emad Omar, Head of the Department, and Dr. Safa Osman, Radio and Television Major Coordinator.
The meeting focused on strengthening collaborative efforts between the two parties, particularly in student training and workshops. The aim is to enhance students' skills and better equip them to meet the demands of today’s job market. Both sides also discussed various initiatives to enrich students' practical experiences and refine their professional expertise.
Mr. Al-Khamis commended the significant progress achieved in a short time, reflecting a strong commitment to providing innovative, modern education. He also praised the College's exceptional academic standards and emphasized the significance of collaboration in developing specialized training programs and innovative workshops to equip media professionals with the skills needed to thrive in the rapidly changing media industry.
