College of Mass Communication Participates in the 2024 Global Media Congress

The College of Mass Communication participated in the third edition of the Global Media Congress 2024, held at the Adnec Center in Abu Dhabi under the theme "Vision, Empowerment, Interaction." The college organized an academic trip for its students to attend this distinguished event, under the supervision of Dr. Amal Badr, where students gained insights into the key issues and challenges facing the media and entertainment industry.

The conference, one of the leading global events focused on the media and entertainment sectors, featured sessions delivered by prominent experts from the Middle East and around the world. The discussions covered vital topics such as digital innovation, artificial intelligence, advanced technologies, revenue models, and the globalization of regional news in the media industry.

A highlight of the college's participation was the involvement of student Mohammed Al Kamali in the opening film of the conference. In his segment, he presented his insights on responsible publishing and content creation, focusing on how to create engaging content through images. Al Kamali addressed two main points: the responsibility of images when published and the credibility and integrity images bring to media content.

This participation provides a unique opportunity for students to enhance their knowledge of the media sector and support their professional development in this vital field.
