In line with the Ajman University Strategy toward Career Excellence, the College of Mass Communication students and Alumni were chosen for the fourth time, to be the only participants in organizing the 6th edition of the “MENA Higher Education Leadership Forum”, in Cooperation with the Center for Learning Innovations and Customized Knowledge Solutions “CLICKS”. The university was honored as a major supporter of the forum.
Dr. Karim Al-Saghir, Chancellor of Ajman University, expressed his happiness and pride with the active participation of students and graduates of the College of Mass Communication, as they demonstrated distinguished skills in organizing the forum. He explained that he received positive feedback from the organizers and attendees regarding the Excellent skills of university participants, as they demonstrated competence in teamwork, organizational skills, time management skills, and communication skills in dealing with various groups, and also crisis management, and that reflects the university was always keen to provide distinguished educational service inside classrooms, besides its role to ensure their readiness and qualifications for the labor market by integrating and engaging them into different community activities.
Prof.Dr. Khaled Al-Saleh, Deputy Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, also emphasized the university’s focus on developing students’ skills to qualify them to join the labor market, through various initiatives and distinguished training courses that the university offers to its students and alumni, Moreover, Prof. Al-Saleh praised the participation of students and alumni in organizing and covering the forum’s activities and all other events in the UAE, He also expressed his happiness that they also obtained the most prominent awards during their participation in various competitions inside and outside UAE.
The participation of Students and Alumni in organizing this international event took place in Dubai during the Period 16-18 April 2024, considered to be a great opportunity to engage the participants in a professional experience, enhance their skills, and qualify them for the job market. Despite the bad weather conditions in UAE during the event, the organizing team consisting of 12 participants insisted on doing all their duties and doing well under the supervision of Dr. Dina Elkhattat, the College’s Internship and Alumni Coordinator, and they got appreciation from all attendees.
