The College of Mass Communication hosts a guest speaker on sustainability and digital innovation

Seeking to fulfill the goals of international collaboration and increase sustainability awareness, the College of Mass Communication recently organized an international guest lecture titled "Driving Sustainable Development with Digital Innovation.". The event featured distinguished speaker Dr Sadia Jamil, PhD, FHEA, Director of Research at the School of International Communications, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Nottingham, Ningbo, China. Dr. Alyaa Anter, the associate professor, organized and coordinated this event.

This collaborative event was jointly organized by collaborating with the College of Mass Communication, the University of Nottingham Ningbo, and the Asian Media Information and Communication Centre (AMIC). Faculty members and students actively participated in the lecture, engaging in discussions on the role of digital innovation in promoting sustainable development.

Dr. Jamil, a renowned expert in media and communication studies, emphasized the importance of leveraging digital transformation to address global sustainability challenges. She presented case studies and real-world examples showcasing technology's impact on achieving sustainable development goals.

  Dr. Hosam Salama concluded by reaffirming the importance of raising awareness about sustainability and its integration into academic and professional practice. Hee also thanked Dr. Jamil for her insightful presentation and gave her an appreciation certificate, acknowledging her valuable contributions.
