The modern era is characterized by tremendous developments in various economic, industrial and social fields, including patterns of daily life and human communication. These developments are led by various digital technologies, including computer programs and devices in various forms and functions, tools and equipment for audio/visual communication and others, artificial intelligence of all kinds, and modern technologies in... Display, marketing and excitement such as virtual and augmented reality. etc. In the third millennium of AD history, various information and knowledge merge to form economic and social visions and theories that determine the features of human life towards the future so that people can benefit from them in all areas of discovery and invention. Hence, science has transferred modern man from the era of material industries and traditional production only to the eras of information and endless applied knowledge through computers and their programs and cloud stores of various knowledge through which various human goals can be achieved. The computer, with its various programs and applications, has imposed itself on all aspects of social life, including the fields of education and guidance, as well as entertainment, whether at home or in public places, and at all age levels from childhood to adulthood...etc., by addressing the human senses with sounds, texts, images, videos, and all visual effects and tricks. What is interesting and attractive is the so-called interactive multimedia mix. This happens in the same society or different societies, so it is necessary to determine the characteristics and specifications of these various media and applications and how to use and deal with them, taking into account the environment and various social factors. In the midst of the rapid development of the modern fields of communication devices and computers, the artificial intelligence revolution, and modern display and presentation techniques that use virtual and augmented reality with their various characteristics, this book came to address multimedia and modern digital technologies of their various types, the design requirements of each of them, and their design standards.
