Dr. Alyaa Anter joined Ajman University in August 2016 as an Assistant Professor of Radio & TV Production in the College of Mass Communication. Prior to this, she was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Radio & TV Production at the International Academy for Engineering & Media Sciences at Egyptian Media Production (2015-2016). She also worked as an Assistant Professor at Alshorouk Academy (2014-2015) and as a Teaching Assistant from 2003 to 2013. Additionally, she worked as a Teaching Assistant at Sixth October University (2002-2003). Her research interests include social media, social capital, Arab media, TV news, political communication, and documentary films. She received her Ph.D. with first-class honors and a recommendation to exchange the thesis with Arab universities from the Radio & TV Department, Faculty of Mass Communication, Cairo University.

  • Ph.D. in Media Studies (The Role of TV News Channels in Shaping Audience’s Images About Arab Countries) from the Radio & TV Department, Faculty of Mass Communication, Cairo University, December 2013, with First-Class Honors and a Recommendation to Exchange the Thesis with Arab Universities.
