Dr. Amr Nassr received his B.Sc. degree in civil engineering from Assiut University, Egypt, in 2004, and the M.A.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in structural engineering from McMaster University- Canada, in 2008 and 2012, respectively. He is currently an Associate Professor with the Department of Civil Engineering, Ajman University. His research interests include structural health monitoring of structures and resiliency of critical infrastructures exposed to multiple hazards. He is a member of many professional societies, including the Professional Engineers of Ontario (PEO), American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), and the Canadian Society of Civil Engineers (CSCE). He is also a former NSERC fellow, a former JSPS fellow, and a Holder of many awards, including the Queen Elizabeth II Award in Science and Technology and International Excellence Award.
