| Abstract | The number of two working parents has grown exponentially in the past several years, and they are working full time. Parents now spend less time with their children to the extent where they don’t even see them go to school or come back from it, and they always worried if they made it to school safe and attended their classes or not. In this project we hope to be able to design a system using a Wi-Fi module and an RFID sensor kit that will act as a gate for the house and another that will act as a gate for the school and an RFID card that will be carried by the child who once passes through either of the gates the parent will get a notification through a website. Our project success criteria will depend on making this gate bug free within the time frame allocated for this project and also to be able to work together as a team to deliver such a system. |
