| Abstract | Today’s industry is highly competitive and requires everything from experienced workers to freshman graduates and students who can work part-time jobs. However, to connect those companies offering new jobs to students who want those jobs is a major dilemma in the GCC industry. In a year there are many thousands of students who graduate and have no prospects of jobs lined up for them in the field of their study or we have students who want to do part-time jobs, training or internships to build up their CV or earn money. In the GCC industry the opportunities to get those jobs are lost due to not being able to network properly the student network with the industrial network. Ajman University is constantly trying to bridge this particular path and so Student path is a web-based system that was created as a solution for students of Ajman University to provide them services that will better enable them to integrate into the working industry. It will offer services to both students and companies like creating your own account, looking for or offering jobs and able to schedule meetings, events and seminars. It will as well provide google maps which are integrated to allow people to see locations of the company as well as let students upload their documents. In short it is a system for both companies and students to get their desired job/employee. |
