The Office of Community Engagement Launches Donate Your Time Initiative

The Office of Community Engagement organized the "Donate Your Time" initiative, aiming to encourage the Ajman University community to volunteer 15 minutes to wrap gifts and write motivational messages. These gifts would be subsequently distributed to patients in hospitals.

The initiative achieved notable success, with 183 volunteers, including students, faculty, and staff, wrapping 408 gifts. The total volunteer hours reached 122, highlighting participants' strong desire and societal awareness to support the community.

The initiative aims to uplift patients' spirits, nurturing hope and optimism. Furthermore, it highlights the crucial role of humanities in healthcare, addressing the emotional and social dimensions of well-being, ultimately contributing to the improved overall quality of healthcare.
