Ajman University Participates as a supporting partner in the Tenth Edition of the Ramadan Aman Campaign, in collaboration with Al Ihsan Charity Association, aimed at raising awareness among drivers about the importance of adhering to traffic rules to reduce road accidents. The campaign aims to distribute more than 2100 Iftar meals daily, which are prepared in the Sheikh Zayed Center for Conferences and Exhibitions within the university campus and distributed to drivers before the Maghrib prayer.
Mr. Shadi Abu Khalid, Director of the Office of Community Engagement at Ajman University, highlighted the importance of recent initiatives in enhancing community communication and cooperation. In the first week, 14,700 meals were distributed with the help of 100 volunteers, who collectively dedicated over 300 hours. Additionally, the office plans 20 events during Ramadan, offering over 300 volunteering opportunities, including the Ramadan Volunteering Ambassador Program, support for the Ramadan Aman campaign, Happiness Week activities, hospital visits, and more.
