The Department of Architecture at the College of Architecture, Arts, and Design hosted the First Gallery on Artificial Intelligence and Computational Design, featuring a showcase of the students’ works from BIM and Generative/Parametric Design Courses. The opening ceremony was attended by Prof. Khaled Assaleh, Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, accompanied by Dr. Riad Saraiji from the College of Architecture, Arts, and Design, and Dr. Jihad Awad, Head of the Architecture Department.
The Gallery represents a new era of education in the field of Artificial Intelligence embraced by Ajman University through the utilization of Building Information Modeling and top-of-notch Artificial Intelligence Platforms. It sheds light on how advanced technologies are used in the design process by showcasing futuristic and contemporary designs for towering buildings that can be applied in future cities in the United Arab Emirates. The Gallery was supervised by Firas Noori, Senior Lecturer and Abdulwahab Al Osaj, Teaching Assistant.
