Centre for Medical and Bio-Allied Health Sciences Research at Ajman University hosted a workshop on Structure-Based Drug Design and Discovery, led by Dr. Mohammad Anas Shamsi, a Full Time Researcher at Centre for Medical and Bio-Allied Health Sciences Research. The workshop aimed to empower participants with essential skills for effective drug discovery through structure-based approaches.

The workshop explored designing and discovering structure-based drugs, incorporating computer-aided methodologies for disease treatment. It emphasized fundamental principles of protein-ligand binding and virtual screening technology. Attendees were introduced to a user-friendly Graphical User Interface (GUI) program tailored for non-specialists in bioinformatics and computer usage.
