Ajman University’s College of Architecture, Art, and Design participated in the Andorra Art Camp, held at UNESCO headquarters in Paris under the theme "Colors of the Planet." The exhibition was inaugurated by His Excellency Ali Abdullah Al Ali, the UAE Ambassador to UNESCO.
In his speech, he expressed pride in Ajman University’s contributions, praising its exemplary commitment to arts and culture through its collaboration with the UNESCO art camp. He also commended the University's efforts in hosting the UNESCO Andorra Art Camp in 2022, which highlighted the importance of art as a fundamental component of life, whether through its positive impact on societal change, its ability to enhance mutual understanding among individuals and cultures, or its role in shaping history.
Conceptualized by the Andorran National Commission for UNESCO and first held in Ordino Andorra in 2008, Art Camp Andorra aims to promote intercultural dialogue and exchange through the medium of art. Since its creation, the Art Camp Andorra has hosted around 150 artists from 80 different countries and has contributed to the creation of approximately 600 original works, which have been exhibited at numerous prestigious locations across the world.
