Ajman University Shines at Global Sustainability Conference

Ajman University proudly showcased its sustainability achievements at The Grace Preservation Second Global Conference, an esteemed event organized by the Emirates Red Crescent with the support of ADNOC, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), WAM, the Dubai Charity Association, among other prominent partners. The conference, held on November 26, 2024, was a convergence of minds focused on advancing sustainability both nationally and globally. 

Central to the discussions were best practices in sustainability, groundbreaking projects, and the pioneering efforts of UAE universities. The agenda delved into crucial areas such as minimizing food waste, advancing sustainable agriculture, fostering a circular economy, and exploring innovative water preservation solutions. 

Ajman University's Office of Sustainability extended an invitation to its community, urging students and staff to engage in diverse sessions, absorb valuable insights, and connect with industry experts. 

Ms. Maya Haddad, Sustainability Manager at Ajman University, participated as a speaker in a panel discussing ‘Sustainable Projects and Experiences of UAE Universities for Future Generations.’ She shared AU's exemplary sustainability practices and its steadfast dedication to cultivating future generations of sustainability leaders. 

This conference provided Ajman University with a remarkable platform to highlight its successes and reaffirm its commitment to promoting sustainability at both institutional and community levels.
