The Office of Student Life organized the “Student Life Forum Fall 2023”, that brought together student representatives from various student bodies in an event aimed at enhancing cocurricular activities at AU. The event was attended by Dr. Mohamed Helal, Director of Student Life, who welcomed the participating students and highlighted the importance of the Forum as a platform for students to share their ideas and feedback about cocurricular activities.
“This forum is your platform, your voice, and your bridge to plan and organize the co-curricular activities you cherish. It's a space where your opinions, ideas, and concerns hold tremendous importance. We know that your insights are crucial in shaping the future of our campus activities, and this forum is the channel through which we'll listen, learn, and evolve. Your feedback will be instrumental in making the co-curricular offerings even more enriching and enjoyable,” he added.
Representatives from student clubs, fine arts, sports teams, and leadership programs actively participated in the Forum. They enriched the discussions with insights into their experiences as groups and individuals involved in cocurricular activities. Moreover, they shared their observations and asked questions about the development of this crucial aspect of their university life.
The supervisors at the Office of Student Life engaged the students and answered their queries, which will help them make more effective use of student life activities and facilities at AU.
At the end of the Forum, students praised the efforts of the Office of Student Life in making a positive change in students' lives and supporting them throughout their academic journey.
