The event featured discussions and workshops on the psychological effects of environmental changes on individuals, highlighting the importance of resilience and personal growth in addressing environmental challenges, as well as the role of individuals in promoting sustainable development.
Fatma Hani, Maab Yassir, Nusiba Noreldin, Roaa Samer, and Shahad Arif, students from the Psychology Department in the College of Humanities and Sciences, delivered a lecture titled “Become a Leader of Change. “In this engaging session, they explored various topics on how to become an inspiring leader and make a positive impact.
Dr. Saif Musa, from the College of Humanities and Sciences delivered a lecture on how to establish a volunteer team, providing strategies to motivate community members to actively participate in volunteer work and achieve a positive impact in society. Dr. Anastasiya Spaska from the College of Medicine delivered a lecture titled 'Exploring the Connection between Mental Health and the Environment,' providing a profound understanding of environmental factors and their impact on mental health.
Dr. Zehra Edis, from the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, highlighted the social and cultural influences on environmental behavior, offering a comprehensive analysis of how society interacts with the challenges of climate change and its impact on individual and collective behavior.
