On the World Interior Design Day, the College of Architecture, Arts, and Design at Ajman University organized an event under the theme “Inspire Tomorrow: Design Challenges of Today”. The event featured a diverse range of workshops, offering students the opportunity to enhance their skills and explore the field of interior design.
Tala Hamza at JTCPL Designs delivered a lecture titled "Inside the World of Interior Design: Challenges and Success". She took the audience on an inspiring journey into the world of interior design, unveiling the challenges and successes that characterize this dynamic field.
On the other hand, Mohammed kabbani, Interior Designer at M.A.A Interiors, delivered a lecture titled "Interior Designer’s Challenges," in which he addressed the ongoing challenges faced by professionals in this ever-evolving field. He highlighted the significance of modern developments, artistic trends, and new technologies, providing practical advice for interior designers on how to deal with these challenges. Moreover, he emphasized the importance of continuous learning and professional development to keep up with industry changes.
In addition, Mouna Fersi Seghir, Visual Artist and Upcycling Art Activist, conducted a unique design workshop on “Wall Sculpture Design”, allowing participants to immerse themselves in an exciting experience that blends art and sustainability by using recycled materials.
Meanwhile, Khalid Osama, a senior Interior Design student, presented his perspective on the intersection of artificial intelligence and design conceptualization. Through his contribution, he offered diverse insights into how modern technologies and innovations are impacting the future transformation of interior design.
