Dr. Karim Seghir, Chancellor of Ajman University, honored the winners of the AU Inter-College Sports Tournament during the recognition ceremony held at the university's sports complex. The ceremony was attended by Dr. Nahla Al Qasimi, Dean of Student Services, Dr. Mohamed Helal, Director of Student Life, and Ms. Asma Al Shamsi, Manager of the Athletics Unit.
The AU Inter-College Sports Tournament featured 35 teams representing various colleges within the university, with a total of 300 male and female students. This year, the College of Business Administration secured the championship and was awarded the Ajman University Cup, showcasing its excellence in the tournament. The Athletics Unit organizes the AU Inter-College Sports Tournament continuously, aiming to promote physical fitness among students and strengthen connections within the student community. In competitions organized for female students, the College of Business Administration secured the third position in the chess competition, while the College of Medicine claimed the second position, and the College of Engineering and Information Technology took the first position. In the badminton competition, the College of Architecture, Art, and Design secured the third position, followed by the College of Business Administration in the second position, and the College of Engineering and Information Technology in the first position. As for the volleyball competition, the College of Business Administration achieved the third position, with the College of Engineering and Information Technology in the second position, and the College of Medicine in the first position. Finally, in the basketball competition, the College of Business Administration excelled by securing the third position, followed by the College of Architecture, Art, and Design in the second position, while the College of Dentistry occupied the first position.
In competitions dedicated to male students, the College of Business Administration secured the second place in chess, and the College of Medicine claimed the first place. In volleyball, the College of Medicine secured the third place, and the College of Business Administration achieved the second place, while the College of Engineering and Information Technology excelled by securing the first place. In basketball, the College of Dentistry secured the third position, and the College of Engineering and Information Technology took the second place, while the College of Business Administration excelled by winning the first place. In futsal, the College of Engineering and Information Technology claimed the third position, the College of Mass Communication secured the second place, and the College of Business Administration won the first place.
