Students received initial input on their current CV’s from the Richemont team and learnt about best practices in constructing an effective CV. As per the workshop, the essential components that would help a CV make a positive first impression are providing pertinent information and designing a professional-looking layout.
Some of the key elements that the interactive workshop focused on included the purpose of a CV, layout, length, style, headings and order, CV do’s and don’ts, language phrases and vocabulary used in a CV, and a look at sample CV’s.
By the end of the workshop, students were able to format a focused CV for particular roles and organizations, recognize the components and objectives of a CV, and write accomplishment-based job and skill descriptions for job applications.
