Ajman University's Dean of Research and Graduate Studies, Prof. Kamran Arshad, was recently invited to present a keynote speech at the 2nd International Conference on Emerging Trends in Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering (INTERACT-2023). The conference was held from March 15-16, 2023, at NED University of Engineering & Technology in Karachi, Pakistan, and was organized by the Department of Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering.
The INTERACT-2023 conference aimed to bring together researchers, practitioners, and experts from academia and industry to focus on recent global advancements in the broad field of electrical, electronics, instrumentation, and communication engineering. The conference was centered around sub-themes covering Electronic and Telecommunications Engineering, including Robotics, Smart Grid, Power and Control, Embedded Systems, Mechatronics, Artificial Intelligence, Wireless Communications, Signal Processing, Computer Systems and Networks, 5G/6G Communication Systems, and Communication Technologies for Smart Communities. The conference served as a platform for building linkages between academia and industry, benefiting both in future advancements and in solving critical problems in the industry. The conference also addressed current challenges and presented solutions to electronic and telecommunications engineering problems, amplifying the collaboration between academia and industry for innovation and development.
