The Fine Arts Center at Ajman University’s (AU) Office of Student Life organized the AU Biennial of Fine Arts 2023 on March 8. The organization of the event was coordinated by Ms. Mona Jabali, Head of the Fine Arts Center at Ajman University.
Thirty-three artists from around the world participated in the AU Biennial themed ‘Bridges of Communication between Realistic Art and Modern Art.’
It featured works of art including oil paintings, graphics, acrylics, pastels, sculpture, ceramics, and other artistic exhibits.
One of the main aims of the Biennial was to bring together renowned artists from across the world under one roof and enable AU students to draw inspiration from them and learn from their expertise and style.
To further promote artistic expression among students, a competition was organized on the sidelines of the Biennial, which witnessed participation from students of six state universities, apart from AU. The talented students displayed myriad artworks including oil paintings, calligraphy, photographs, and various other pieces of art.
