Ajman University (AU) in association with PwC's Academy, held a competition for students to demonstrate their knowledge and practical application skills in the subjects of accounting and finance. Twelve students from AU's College of Business Administration took part in the competition. During the one-hour challenge, all four teams developed creative solutions to the problems presented in three rounds of multiple-choice questions.
Students demonstrated excellent employability skills, including oral and written communication, critical thinking, and time management, that they had acquired from their courses.
Aya Al-Khateeb, fourth year Finance student at AU, said: “The competition has been a great learning opportunity. The fact that we could experience the business environment personally and obtain feedback on it made it a memorable experience.”
Students answers were evaluated in the final round, and the winning team won a full scholarship to a PwC financial or accounting course of their choice.
