Ajman University, in line with the spirit of Ramadan and the ethos of giving, participated in the "Kiswat Eid Campaign," organized in collaboration with The Big Heart Foundation. AU volunteers designed this heartwarming event to bring joy and support to the children of families impacted by COVID-19 and those from low-income households in the UAE. The campaign's central goal was to foster a sense of community engagement by encouraging donations of both financial resources and time. It sought to spread happiness, especially among those facing challenging circumstances. Ajman University Volunteers took the underprivileged children shopping for new clothes in preparation for Eid.
This initiative aligns with SDG #1 (No Poverty), as it aims to provide support and opportunities to children from low-income families, helping reduce disparities and improve their quality of life. Additionally, it resonates with SDG #10 (Reduced Inequalities) by promoting inclusivity and creating a sense of togetherness within the community, bridging gaps, and ensuring that every child can partake in the joys of a special occasion like Eid. Ajman University's participation in the "Kiswat Eid Campaign" is a testament to its commitment to social responsibility and positively impacting the lives of those less fortunate.
