The Fine Arts Center in the Office of Student Life recently organized a fine arts competition, with the aim of introducing students to the fine arts, its schools and pioneers. The workshop was also aimed at shedding light on some lesser known aspects of fine arts to amateur students including important theories, information about the different types of arts and art schools, their origins, trends, styles and pioneers.
The event also featured various artworks in the fields of design, graphics, acrylic and drawing.
The competition, attended by a group of Ajman University students along with students from the University of Sharjah and the Modern American School, was characterized by great interaction that was manifested in the emergence of the spirit of competition among the competing students.
The participating students expressed their gratitude for organizing this interesting competition, which provided them with valuable information and enlightened them on many aspects of art that they were ignorant of. At the end of the competition, the names of the three winning students were announced.
