AU students Organize 'Reading is Life' Initiative for School Students

The Excellence Club in the Office of Student Life organized an initiative entitled Reading is Life, to encourage school students to read. The event which coincided with the Month of Reading aimed to increase students’ awareness of the importance of reading and develop their reading skills.

The event which included several activities such as reading valuable stories in an innovative way, in both Arabic and English, was organized across several primary schools in Ajman and Sharjah (The First Academy School, the National School, Al Shola Private School in Ajman, and AL Mawaheb School in Sharjah). AU students narrated stories using projectors and live performances, which made the recitals even more interesting for all the participants. Reading competitions were also organized, during which gifts and balloons were distributed to children in schools.

In the end, the school administrations expressed their appreciation for AU students and extended their appreciation to Ajman University for this distinguished initiative.
