Ajman University’s (AU) Electrical Engineering students can now earn a Master’s degree from the renowned Temple University in USA, in addition to their Bachelor’s degree from AU, in just five years under the 3+2 dual degree arrangement. According to a recent agreement signed between AU and Temple University, AU students with good academic standing can opt for this dual degree arrangement between the two universities.
Students will need to complete six semesters of the usual eight-semester Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering program at Ajman University. They can complete the final two semesters of their AU Bachelor’s Degree at Temple University, while simultaneously being enrolled in the first year of the Temple Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (M.S.E.E.) degree.
For successful completion of the dual-degree program, students must meet all the requirements, independently established, and in force at each institution. Both the Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering at AU and the Master of Science in Electrical Engineering at Temple University are accredited by ABET (Accreditation Board of Engineering and Technology) and are in compliance with the Commission of Academic Accreditation (CAA) UAE.
“The Dual Degree Program agreement with Temple University is a great step forward for Ajman University’s College of Engineering and Information Technology (CEIT). It offers talented AU students in the Electrical Engineering branch, the opportunity to gain two globally recognized qualifications in a shorter period of time. In addition, the opportunity to learn and live abroad will help them attain a global outlook,” said Dr. Karim Seghir, Chancellor of Ajman University.
