In a recent communication to Ajman University (AU) students, AU Chancellor Dr. Karim Seghir conveyed that the university will be shifting some practical courses, including clinics, labs, and studios to online mode starting Sunday February 7, 2021.
This has been necessitated due to the evolving Covid-19 situation, which according to global experts is mutating into more contagious variants.
Reassuring the students, Dr. Karim added, “As always, AU’s priority is to minimize health risks while continuing to provide a world-class learning experience and academic integrity. Therefore, to best safeguard our students, faculty and staff, we need to shift some practical courses, including clinics, labs, and studios to online mode.”
Further details on changes in the delivery of practical coursework will be issued directly by the respective deans and instructors. As communicated earlier, midterm exams will be conducted on campus using strict precautionary measures.
