Reflecting its strong commitment to continuous improvement in the delivery of high-quality education, Ajman University has once again been ranked among the top 750 universities in the world by QS World University Rankings (QSWUR) 2022.
QSWUR, one of the most acclaimed academic rankings worldwide, ranks more than 5500 universities worldwide each year, on six key parameters including academic & employer reputation, international students & faculty, and faculty-student ratio among others.
In this year’s QSWUR rankings, Ajman University has been ranked no.4 for international students and no.6 for international faculty, demonstrating its continued strength in attracting and retaining international students and faculty. In the UAE, AU was ranked among the top 8 universities, as per QSWUR 2022.
Importantly, AU made improvements in two of the six main indicators: Academic Reputation and Employer Reputation. Our rise in these categories is especially impressive considering the vast number of institutions now seeking a spot in the QSWUR. Results from more than 130,000 academics and 75,000 employers were analyzed this year – with AU earning more votes than ever before!
AU’s international collaborations and tie-ups with international universities offer its students meaningful international exposure, while helping them take advantage of opportunities in the resilient UAE economy.
“None of this would have been possible without the collective efforts of our world-class faculty and staff. I am inspired by your determination and dedication to Ajman University and our beloved students. Let’s keep making excellence, inclusion, and global rankings happen,” said Ajman University Chancellor, Dr. Karim Seghir, in his address to the AU community.
