Student Housing Organizes "You_Safety_Happiness” Event
Three words “You_Safety_Happiness” is the title of the event organized by the University Housing Department at Ajman University. Dr. Nahla Al Qassimi, Dean of Students Affairs, Eng. Lina Tayfur, Director of the Housing Department and Dr. Fida Jassas, Director of Medical Services, attended the seminar.
From the first word of the theme "You", student Hadeel Al-Muhaimid talked about the students personality in housing through her dealing with her colleague in the common rooms, and their cooperation and respect for the internal housing laws. This is the key to the second word, "Safety", which was presented to her by student Nigeen Shahid. She reminded everyone that the student should abide by the housing laws and the importance of using the safety devices provided by the administration such as the Turnstile and the night vision camera. This was also the key to the last word, "happiness," which was spoken by student Duaa Shuaibi, where she confirmed that achieving happiness is an utter goal, and this concept is integrated only with the participation of students in the internal and external activities of the University Housing Department. This theme reflects the daily life of female students in housing.
The exhibition witnessed the establishment of the Fine Arts Exhibition under the theme "The Year of Zayed", which included many paintings that were produced in the painting workshop inside the residence. Dr. Fadha Jassas, Director of Medical Services, gave a detailed presentation on the services provided by the Department of Medical Services. She spoke about the importance of maintaining the healthy living laws of food, rest, sport and sleep to be followed in order to live better.
During the open dialogue session, Dr. Nahla Al-Qasimi listened to the students proposals for developing the available housing services. She urged the students to send their comments and suggestions via e-mail, encouraging them to interact with the Housing Administration first and then the Deanship of Student Affairs in the event of any inquiry.
At the end of the event, Dr. Nahla Al Qasimi presented certificates of thanks and appreciation to the technical supervisor and cultural supervisor in the university housing for their contributions in organizing and activating activities for housing students. Engineer Lina Tayfour also announced a competition for the best room in the level of arrangement and cleanliness.
