Law Team Crowned AU 2018 Football League Champion

Ajman University Football Championship ends after nearly two weeks of competition between 12 teams representing the colleges of Business Administration, Dentistry, Engineering, Law and Information Technology.

The tournament was a success by all standards, large number of attendance and a high level of competition, which accompanied all matches from start to finish. The Law team was distinguished by their impressive teamwork and high morale, and managed to beat engineering team (2) in the final by three goals to two goals. The referee Abdullah Ahnash below the final whistle, which ended the match, thus announcing Law team as AU 2018 Football League Champion.

The refereeing team, consisting of Abdul Moin Dabsi, Omar Osama and Ala Dababsa, refereed the matches with high professionalism. The tournament organizer, sports supervisor Captain Abdelhamid Bakour expressed his happiness. "The tournament has achieved its goals and introduced new faces for the university team" he said.

At the end of the tournament, the Sports Activities Office represented by Asma Al Shamsi, Dr. Mohammed Hilal, Director of Student Life, as well as the Sports Supervisor distributed souvenirs and medals to the winning teams, the refereeing team and all those who contributed to the success of this tournament.
