The Office of Alumni in cooperation with the College of Dentistry at Ajman University organized a workshop on Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) technique. A technique that is considered as one of the most problem-solving techniques of radiography in the field of dentistry. The workshop was conducted by Dr. Sitari Lavasani, an alumnus of the College of Dentistry who graduated in 2005 and holds a master’s degree and a PhD in the field of oral surgery and dental medical diagnosis from Texas Health Sciences University in San Antonio, USA.
The workshop included a lecture and practical training on modern technology, attended by students from the College of Dentistry. The workshop was held at Sheikh Zayed Center for Conferences and Exhibitions at the University campus.
It is worth mentioning that Dr. Lavasani is currently the Head of Radiology at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California. She is also a member of the board of the same university and a permanent lecturer at the California Dental Association.
