Under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Ajman University, H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Ajman Executive Council, attended the graduation ceremony of the first class of the 27th batch of Ajman University graduates, which carried the theme 'Year of Zayed'.
The graduation ceremony, which was held at the Sheikh Zayed Centre for Exhibitions and Conferences at the University, included 336 bachelors and masters students from various colleges and specialisations and hailed from 29 nationalities.
This year’s graduation ceremony carries the theme the Year of Zayed after the announcement of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan declaring 2018 as the Year of Zayed, to celebrate the Founding Father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, and marking the centennial anniversary of the late leader's birth.
The ceremony was attended by Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Tourism Development Department; Hussain bin Ibrahim Al Hammadi, Minister of Education; Abdullah Amin Al Shurafa, Advisor to the Emiri Court in Ajman, as well as several sheikhs, members of the University’s Board of Trustees, chairmen and directors of government departments, directors of national universities, along with several members of the diplomatic corps, college deans, professors, dignitaries of the country, parents of students, and the university’s guests who are senior figures and officials.
