College of Law at Ajman University organized an educational trip for students studying the Maritime and Air law. They visited the dry docks at DP World, Dubai one of the largest facilities in the world.
They were warmly welcomed by Ms. Sumaya Tahalk, Director of Corporate Communication, she praised the role of AU as an academic institution that has been contributing significantly to the sustainable development of UAE community.
Students toured the entire facility and were briefed about the operations, maintenance and ship building. Dubai dry docks is the leading manufacturer and industrial arm of the DP World, it is the largest facility in the Middle East in terms of ship building, ship maintenance and marine construction. They students were also given in-depth details about the drilling platforms and off shore drillings along with natural gas storage according to international standards.
The visit comes as part of the College’s activities aimed at enriching the students experience of the practical world.
