Ajman University has recently tied up with two renowned educational institutions in USA. This comes within the framework of establishing global partnerships that will widen the scope of opportunities for students and faculty alike.
The partnerships agreements are with the Eastern Michigan University located in Ypsilanti and the University of Akron in Ohio. Professor. Khaled Assaleh, Vice-Chancellor for Academic Affairs at Ajman University signed the agreements with Professor James Smith, President of Eastern Michigan University and Professor Rex Ramsier, Provost University of Akron.
The delegates were briefed about the programs and facilities during the campus tour. Prof. Khaled Assaleh, Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs expressed his gratitude for the overwhelming welcome extended by the two universities. He also pointed out that these agreements form the basis of a long-term partnership wherein students and faculty at all three institutions can reap the benefit of gaining international experience and exposure to global economies. In the past AU has forged relationships with many institutions across the continents and it continues its efforts to strengthen the network of education providers who are providing the world with socially responsible and globally active workforce.
These mutually beneficial agreements include a broad spectrum of activities such as student and faculty exchange programs, joint research and publications, dual degree programs, visits, joint events and cultural exchange.
