Ajman University hosted the school principals and management as part of its endeavors to strengthen its relationship with schools across the country. 30 different schools were represented at the reception, which included all curriculums commonly taught at both public and private schools.
Dr. Karim Seghir, AU Chancellor welcomed the guests along with Deans, Head of Departments and Managers. He reiterated the successful path that AU has taken since its inception, to induct batches of graduates into the economy, locally, regionally and internationally. He stressed on the importance of education as the best form of giving and a worthy investment.
This dialogue with the academic institutions, that forms the basis of any students’ career, will bridge the gap between the high school and University phase of the students life. The avenues of mutual cooperation and communication on common grounds was the highlight of this event.
Dr. Karim explained that the University is keen to keep abreast of the labor market needs, and therefore researches and studies are regularly conducted to provide academic programs that match the market needs. Au equips the students with professional skill sets that enhance their career options.
In line with the mandatory requirement of a teaching diploma by the Ministry of Education that will be implemented by 2020-2021, AU has launched the program to facilitate the teachers all across UAE. The teachers can register individually or in groups and avail different offers.
The principals and school management toured the AU campus and its facilities which houses over 76 nationalities of students.
