The student Academic Counseling Unit of the Deanship of Student Affairs at Ajman University organized a series of lectures delivered by specialists, and the target audience of the lectures was the women students of the University from all colleges. The lectures discussed controlling anger, designing ideas and feelings, as well as the emotional intelligence.
Dr. Ahmad Al-Zou’bi, assistant professor at the College of Mass Communication and Humanities, presented a workshop on anger control, in which he reviewed the definition of anger, its types, causes and effects. Dr. Al-Zou’bi also talked about the types of individuals according to the patterns of anger, indicating the psychological means in dealing with anger. He also applied the APEB model to control anger in individual’s real-life situations.
