Sahar Najeeb Sulaiman Kharrufa

Sahar Najeeb Kharrufa is a seasoned architect, accomplished academic, and dedicated researcher with a wealth of experience. His architectural expertise spans over 250 successfully designed projects. Currently, he serves as a distinguished Professor of Architecture and assumes the role of Coordinator for the MSc in Urban Design program within the Department of Architecture. In the academic realm, Sahar has imparted knowledge across various subjects, including Architectural Design, CAD, Sustainability, Urban Design, and Graduation Projects. His commitment to education is evident in his multifaceted teaching approach. On the research front, Sahar has contributed significantly, having authored 34 papers to date. His research portfolio encompasses diverse topics such as sustainability, urban design, CAD, and green environments, showcasing his broad intellectual curiosity and impact in the field. Sahar earned his Ph.D. from Bath University in the UK in 1985, reflecting his dedication to continuous learning and academic excellence.
