Raghavendra Manjunath Shetty

Dr. Raghavendra M. Shetty is a distinguished academician and clinician who graduated from A.B. Shetty Dental College, Mangalore, India, and earned his Master’s in Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry from PMNM Dental College, Bagalkot, India. He was conferred with a Ph.D. by Nitte University and was awarded a gold medal for securing the highest score in his Master’s in 2004 by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. In 2010, he received the ‘Young Pedodontist Researcher’ award from the Indian Society of Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry (ISPPD). He is also a Member of the Faculty of Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, Glasgow. Dr. Shetty has co-authored five textbooks and published approximately 55 national and international research papers. He has served as the past Joint Secretary and Executive Member of ISPPD and was the Organizing Chairman of the 37th ISPPD National Conference held in Raipur in 2015, which was widely acclaimed. With over 16 years of teaching experience at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and extensive clinical expertise in Pediatric Dentistry, he has three patents to his name. Dr. Shetty has conducted conferences, pre-conference courses, and delivered numerous guest lectures at national and international forums. He also serves as a reviewer and editorial board member for several esteemed national and international journals.
