Dr. Raghavendra M. Shetty graduated from A.B. Shetty Dental College, Mangalore, India, and earned his Master’s in Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry from PMNM Dental College, Bagalkot, India. He was awarded a Ph.D. by Nitte University and received a gold medal for securing the highest score in his Master's program in 2004 from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. In 2010, he was honored with the ‘Young Pedodontist Researcher’ award by the Indian Society of Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry (ISPPD). Dr. Shetty is a Member of the Faculty of Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, Glasgow. He has co-authored five textbooks and published approximately 55 national and international research papers. He has also served as the past Joint Secretary and Executive Member of ISPPD and was the Organizing Chairman of the 37th ISPPD National Conference in Raipur in 2015, which received wide acclaim. With over 16 years of experience in teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, along with extensive clinical expertise in Pediatric Dentistry, Dr. Shetty holds three patents. He has conducted numerous conferences, pre-conference courses, and guest lectures at national and international forums. Additionally, he serves as a reviewer and editorial board member for several prestigious national and international journals.
