Dr. Prabhu Manickam Natarajan completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from The Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University, India, followed by a Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) in Periodontics from Annamalai University in 2003. He earned his Doctorate in Periodontics from Bharath Institute of Higher Education and Research (BIHER), India, in September 2011, becoming the first individual to do so. In 2019, Dr. Prabhu received the Fellowship in Dental Surgery from The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, UK. In January 2020, he was awarded the Fellowship of the Faculty of Dental Trainers from The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, becoming the first individual from India to achieve this honor. He later received the Fellowship in General Dental Practice from the Royal College of England. Dr. Prabhu began his academic career in 2004 as a Lecturer in Periodontics, progressing to Professor in 2012 in India. He also served as Professor of Periodontics and Research Coordinator in Malaysia from 2012 to 2014. He worked at Gulf Medical University, Ajman, and USTF, Fujairah, before joining Ajman University in 2021. A respected speaker at national and international conferences, Dr. Prabhu has been awarded two research grants and serves as a PhD guide and examiner for PhD, Master's, and undergraduate exams.
