Firas Hussein Abdulsalam Elmsmari

Dr Firas Elmsmari obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery Bachelor's Degree (DDS) from Ajman University, UAE in 2012. Afterwards, he began working as clinical instructor in Endodontic 4th and comprehensive 5th year clinics in Ajman University, UAE between 2013 to 2016. Dr Elmsmari completed his maters in the International University of Catalonia, Barcelona, Spain in 2019, obtaining the title of European Master's Degree in Endodontics, as one the few programs recognized by the European Society of Endodontology (ESE). Subsequently he worked as a clinical instructor and assistant lecturer in the European Master's Degree in Endodontics between 2019 to 2020. In 2020 he became a Specialist Member of the European Society of Endodontology (ESE), one the few residing in the UAE. He obtained the title of Doctorate in Health Sciences (PhD) in Endodontics with distinction from the International University of Catalonia and the University of Barcelona in 2021, culminating in the procurement of a European product patent and a wining several grants by the European Regional Development Fund. Dr Elmsmari has several publications in Endodontic journals with the highest impact factor and is a devoted researcher in the field of Endodontics with special focus on vital pulp therapy and the application of nanoparticles in Endodontics as an innovative drug delivery system.
