Dr Divya Gopinath is an oral pathologist and a committed researcher with more than 10 years of experience in research and dental education. She obtained her PhD from the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Hong Kong (QS rank 1) and also has obtained an MPhil degree in Molecular Virology from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Hong Kong. She completed her bachelor's in dental surgery (BDS) from Governmental Dental College, Calicut University, India, and her Master's in Dentistry (MDS) in Oral Pathology & Microbiology from Government Dental College, University of Kerala, India. Presently she works in the division of Basic Medical and Dental Sciences Dept, College of Dentistry, Ajman University, UAE. She has more than 40 Q1 and Q2 publications and has won several research awards and grants to her credit. She serves as an Editorial board member of prestigious journals like Scientific reports and BMC Oral health. Her research interests mainly focus on exploring the relationship between microorganisms and oral diseases and Evidence-based dentistry/oral medicine. She is highly committed to furthering the advancement of clinicians in research.
