Asok Mathew

Dr. Asok Mathew joined Ajman University as an Assistant Professor in 2021. He is involved in the consultation of oral medicine cases, including mucosal lesions, TMJ disorders, management of patients with systemic diseases, oral cancer, orofacial pain, tobacco-related lesions, viral infections like herpes stomatitis, oral candidiasis, and OSMF. He has been licensed as a MOH specialist in oral radiology, providing interpretation reports for implant planning. He has also involved himself with the internship program as the Program Coordinator at Ajman University, Fujairah. He was assigned to teach oral medicine, oral radiology, emergency dental care, treatment planning, and clinical dentistry sessions for both undergraduate and postgraduate students. Dr. Mathew has published more than 28 publications in peer-reviewed journals and has supervised more than 40 undergraduate research projects.
