Ajman University Hosts Delegation from Sahmyook University

On January 29, 2025, Ajman University (AU) had the pleasure of welcoming a delegation from Sahmyook University, led by its President, Haejong Je. The delegation met with Prof. Khaled Assaleh, Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, along with other AU representatives, to discuss potential areas of collaboration between the two institutions.

In parallel with the official discussions, the delegation was accompanied by 12 students from Sahmyook University, who participated in a cultural exchange program organized by the Office of International Academic Affairs (OIAA) in collaboration with the Office of Student Life and the Korean Club. The program provided an immersive introduction to both Ajman University and the UAE’s rich cultural heritage, featuring traditional Emirati cuisine and engaging activities. Additionally, an AU student skilled in calligraphy art and members of the Musical Club showcased their talents, further enriching the cultural experience for the visiting students.

This visit marks an important step toward strengthening academic and cultural ties between Ajman University and Sahmyook University, fostering meaningful engagement between students and faculty from both institutions.
