The Athletics Unit Concludes AU Inter-College Sports Tournament Fall 2024

Dr. Karim Seghir, Chancellor of Ajman University, honored the winners of the AU Inter-College Sports Tournament Fall 2024 during a ceremony held at the University's sports complex. The event was attended by Dr. Nahla Al Qassimi, Dean of Student Services, Dr. Mohamed Helal, Director of Student Life, and Ms. Asma Al Shamsi, Manager of the Athletics Unit.

The tournament saw the participation of 500 male and female students from 101 teams representing various colleges at the University. The College of Business Administration secured the championship and was awarded the Ajman University Cup.

The Athletics Unit continues its ongoing efforts to organize a variety of sporting events aimed at enhancing student health, as well as fostering teamwork and fair competition among them. By providing an outstanding sporting environment, the unit encourages students to engage in regular physical activity, thereby improving their fitness levels and positively impacting their academic and social lives. The unit also organizes tournaments and competitions that bring together different colleges, which promotes collaboration and interaction among students, contributing to the building of strong relationships within the university community.
