AU Receives Diplomats Representing 13 Countries

Ajman University received a number of embassies’ representatives and cultural attachés in the UAE during the meeting of the AU’s strategic partners of diplomats and cultural attachés. It is worth mentioning that the Office of Community Engagement organized this meeting.

Dr. Karim Seghir, Chancellor, Ajman University, welcomed the diplomats and guests of the University and he expressed pleasure in hosting diplomats from 13 countries. He reviewed the outstanding achievements of the University and the international accreditations it has achieved, the new projects it has launched and the various services it provides to students.

The Chancellor also added that AU’s students come from more than 70 countries who enjoy diverse activities organized by the University in an utter harmony. This in turn reflects the society of the UAE, which is home to more than 200 nationalities living in the UAE and enjoying security, peace and harmony.

The delegation visited a number of facilities including the new Student Hub and the Sports Complex and they met with students representing their countries.
The delegations included the General Consuls or their representatives to the UAE who represented the United States of America, France, Ghana, Thailand, Oman, Iraq, South Africa, Afghanistan, the Philippines, Tunisia, Korea, Brazil and Jordan.
